[RUME] Mathematical proofs becoming harder to verify? At what level

I will take a slightly contrarian viewpoint of this matter. Yes I agree
that with the passage of time new results in well-trod grounds
become harder to find and establish as the easier research is done
first. That is a tautology for all fields. But as a graduate
student, I saw speakers in mathematics and physics provide
simpler, more accessible explanation of well-known to research level topcs.
So at the level of high school mathematics and even calculus, passage
of time will lead to more and more accessible exposition of skills,
concepts and proofs. We just have to watch for such explanations or
expositions, and collect them.
