Dear All,
I am conducting an unscientific poll of calculus textbooks used for
introductory non-remedial calculus classes in undergraduate settings.
(the results of this poll would complement/triangulate other sources
I have about this). I would appreciate if you could be so kind and
answer the following three questions (to me, please, vmesa at umich.edu,
not to the full list!). I will compile the answers that I receive in
the next two weeks and will be happy to share the results with all
interested people. Thank you for your time.
1. Name and author(s) of the calculus text used for regular, applied,
or honors (or other label used at your institution) non-remedial
first year calculus at your institution.
2. Main reason (if known) for adopting the text.
3. Your institution
Thank you very much,
Vilma Mesa
