[RUME] Research on recorded lectures at university

We are doing some research on this at KSU, but we don't have anything
written up yet. You can find more in the engineering education literature,
though the technology of tablets is new enough there isn't a lot. So I
think you'll have more luck looking in conference proceedings. I know
there were papers presented on this at the 2007 (and I presume 2008)
national meeting of the American Society for Engineering Education and
also a paper or two at the Frontiers In Education conference from 2008.
