Position2:  Tenure-Track, Assistant or Associate Professor - Mathematics

Qualifications:  Ph.D. in Mathematics preferred; ABD or degree in related field considered.

Position Description:  Successful candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching undergraduate courses in a liberal arts environment, research and continued professional growth.  The teaching load is 12 hours per semester.  The ability to teach introductory statistics is a plus. We require:  a cover letter, current resume, a transcript of all graduate work, a statement of teaching philosophy and research interests, and three current letters of recommendation, one of which addresses the applicant's teaching ability.  The committee plans to review the applications starting on the 10th of January, 2009, so we encourage all applicants to submit their materials in a timely manner.
