Web Survey on the Use of Clickers for College Math Teaching

Dear Sir/Madam,

Let me introduce myself: My name is Samuel King, and I am conducting
research into the impact of Clickers on the teaching and learning of
college math. I am interested in collecting data on how Clickers have been
used, the perceived benefits and/or drawbacks, and the impact on the
teaching and learning of mathematics.

I am therefore keen to contact academic staff at colleges and universities
across the US who have used or are currently using Clickers to teach
college math. The purpose of this exercise is to identify the relevant
faculty whom I could invite to complete a web survey on how they have used
Clickers in their respective institutions.

The link for the survey is,
<http://www.survey.lboro.ac.uk/clickers/>http://www.survey.lboro.ac.uk/clickers/.
The survey consists of 34 items (questions). Ten of these are open-ended
questions requiring a response of 2-3 sentences, while the rest are
multiple-choice questions. Respondents may also print off a copy of their
submissions for their records, and I intend to provide all respondents with
a summary of the findings by Spring 2010.

Kindly let me know if you need additional information.

Thank you.

Regards,

Samuel O. King
