[ARUME] Math Ed position



Below is an announcement for a position at the University of Northern
Colorado.

Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education (#20230)
  Tenure track position.
 Earned doctorate in Mathematics Education, Master's Degree in
 Mathematics or equivalent is desirable.  Candidate must demonstrate
 a knowledge of current trends in elementary and/or secondary
mathematics education and provide evidence of teaching effectiveness,
along with potential to do research in mathematics education.
Primary teaching responsibility will be in secondary teacher education
programs, graduate mathematics education, and undergraduate mathematics
 content.  Full-time load consists of nine hours of teaching per
semester in addition to research and service.  Preference will be
given to candidates with a minimum of three years of teaching
experience at the k-12 level, experience with preservice and inservice
teachers, and potential for grant writing and publication.  Developing
and maintaining an active research program in support of dissertations
in the Mathematics Education Ph.D program is expected.
