Here's a slight elaboration. AMS, who publishes RCME, claims that books get
published 3 months after the manuscript is sent to AMS. We sent the ms to
AMS in early September and people at AMS said that that was sufficient time
for the book to appear at the joint meetings. You could probably check
availability at the publications section of the AMS Web site.
