[RUME] reference

I'm about to start looking for such things myself. For STEM in general there is
Seymour & Hewitt, Talking about Leaving: Why Undergraduates Leave the
Sciences (1997). For CS there is Margolis & Fisher, Unlocking the
Clubhouse (2002?). Both of which can be used to inform retention in
mathematics. For retention in general, I am currently reading Tinto's
book on the departure puzzle.

There are probably journal articles about retention in mathematics.
They might tend to be institution-specific (which is also
informative). I just haven't gone looking yet.
